SUPPORT US ON INDIEGOGO: igg.me/at/pacific201/x Public opinion is split on space exploration. Some feel that in peacetime, Starfleet should return to exploring the unknown. In a risky PR move, Starfleet has sent a representative to the talk show of the controversial personality "Zach Jasper", who is s...

The production is amazing for a fan made film. The story and characters are better than anything being put out by major studios right now. Only one quibble. This takes place in 2200, 40 years after Enterprise and 60 years before Kirk and TOS. Was this before the Federation was even at war with the Klingons let alone the Romulans? There wasn't any treatise or neutral zone was there at this point?

The designs of the Pacific and Velocity look nice as they both meld the familiar Star Trek elements with real-world elements, the angular pointed design of the Romulan vessel was unique as most vessels tend to be rounded or bird-like in shape. The low-budget elements add a nice realism akin to both TOS and the "Star Trek: Renegades" fan film so that it feels both lived-in and familiar. It's interesting to see something that looks both well-made and has the typical elements of a low-budget film, but they blend together so nicely that other than small moments between scenes they're almost background noise. The script transcript making it's way into the captioning is a little distracting, but makes the story easier to follow. Love especially how it's a mid-point between 2161 and 2200 with the post-Neutral Zone but before Kirk as they're focused on exploration and the planet is a nice callback to the mission of exploration and ends the film with optimism for who or what created the planet they found.

Cool! I Love how it shows something from an era totally unexplored this far by the Star Trek Cannon = the Century following Archer and co. 🙂

This is way better than how the Star Trek Discovery characters act. They act like children on that show. No structure or professionalism showing they are in astar Fleet.

Missing all the wokness and virtue signaling,... realistic military interaction,... like @Cathoray2012 said,... This movie is an example of why the brass at CBS/Paramount have put restrictions on fan based productions. The quality and style of this clip is so much more interesting and fun to watch than what is currently being broadcast by those establishments. Nicely done! Yes,...very nicely done indeed!

This child production is a huge role of toilet paper, I did not think they could do worse but part 2 shows that everything is possible. I won't fall for another Fandom show like this again getting burned twice is enough!

I just found this three years after the fact. The story was great, however the acting was emotionally dead. The XO was so very bland and monotone in her acting it made the show hard to get through. I hope you do more, but with actors that have a good command over emotional acting.

A low rank officer assuming the Starfleet Command and the Captain are in collusion with Romulans in about 14 seconds is bonkers, he would need to be psychotic and would never be in Starfleet. Now I understand the "no conflict" rule by Gene Rodenberry, when done it must be done well. If enough doubt and weird behavior from them was shown maybe (like Miles O'Brien episode Whispers in DS9) but there was nothing like that to construct this doubt.

A Captain would be less sure about engaging warp in orbit of a planet. He didn't even blink to give the order. But I loved the way she reversed the interrogation and begin to question the Intelligence officer.

Ship design and visuals are awesome. Kinda have to agree with lieutenant here. Star Fleet Admiral asked questions about why the "science crew didn't share more of their data with the bridge team" (10:11) like that was a choice. Once the science crew got there, they had less than a minute to respond to the planet actively exploding. Star Fleet was kinda stingy about it. It was an awesome interpretation.

It is a standard Star Trek 'fact' that all shuttles are trackable - launching any one shuttle that got away would give a sensor reading, thus the ship could have been found. That said, an admirable effort by all

honestly, the only thing I can complain about is the lack of overall gravitas, and the improper use of jargon, lol. I don't think that their shields work using gravity, that would mean a ship with it's shields raised would emit a gravimetric signature. ...and also, why does it sound like the ships doors are a person making the noises? surely they are audio libraries that would have been acceptable to use, but that's a bit of nit pick on my part.

The writing, acting, directing, effects, wow!!! Nitpick: a line or two of dialog about the consequences of blowing up the Romulan ship might have been in order. Really great stuff! You could launch a TV series on the last scene alone.

Beginning with a HORRIBLE tune for a nearly sacred poem. It was put to music perfectly by John Denver, but I guess these millennials missed it.
